My name is Yushen Zhou. I come from Zhengzhou, which is the capital and largest city of Henan province in China. One of the most famous places of interest in my hometown is the Shaolin Temple. It is also the birthplace of Chinese Shaolin Kung Fu. In my opinion, the Shaolin Temple not only makes people all over the world learn more about Chinese cultures but also helps them to have better and deeper learning of Chinese martial arts. I really love my hometown.
This is my third year studying in Uvic with the major of Economics. I have lived in Vancouver and studied at the Coquitlam College for almost two years and I just transferred credits from that college. Currently, I live in Victoria and plan to graduate from Uvic this year as well. When I was free, I like skiing, swimming, and horsing with my friends.
I have take EDCI 337 and EDCI 338 last semester and I feel interested in taking online courses at Uvic. I think it makes my learning time more flexible and effective.
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone this semester and taking this course!
